Brief

The original brief was “creating a dynamic identity system for an organisation or a company”, with a random given slogan, my task was to build a whole brand and it’s characteristics and strategy while staying true to the slogan and the mission of the organisation. The slogan I was given is “people in motion”.
Naming

The name “Unison” has the same root as the “unity” with an additional meaning of “fit”, it suggests an organization that thrives from people joining and supporting the campaign and each other.





Brand Strategy

With the name and concept, the brand strategy is built on one essential thing: people in motion. The brand’s goal is to bringing the change to the world through first bringing change to people’s lives. Creating a brand that is so powerful that people want to be a part of is crucial for this aim. So, the brand strategy is to build a tribe that people would be a part of and reward them for their involvement.

Visual Communication

For a lot of the NGOs, a challenge is to showcase concrete examples of a rather abstract and a really long process. This by itself creates confusion to the public as they don’t really see how much an organization really effects and helps to their cause. 

For this reason, for an organization that has a much more visible goal, it is possible to communicate this improvement through the identity itself. Also, this transparency and shareholder mechanism for the people who are supporting the case could increase motivation as they can see its effects constantly. 

The idea is to create a logo that would represent the “people in motion” by number, the logo would change the more and more people are contributing and becoming a member of this organization.

Challenges: Sustainability and the recognizability of the logo.
